STATES GRANTS (PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ASSISTANCE) ACT 1996 No. 70, 1996 - SECT 51

The object of this Part is to help with the acquisition of appropriate
literacy, numeracy and related skills by students who are most educationally
disadvantaged and are therefore more likely to be at risk, when leaving
school, of being ill-equipped to receive further education and training or to
engage in sustainable employment.
