STATES GRANTS (PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ASSISTANCE) ACT 1996 No. 70, 1996 - SECT 60

Subject to section 66, the Minister may make a determination authorising the
making of payments to a State by way of financial assistance to the State for
recurrent expenditure for a program year in respect of the teaching of
community languages:

   (a)  at or in connection with a non-government school or non- government
        schools in the State; or

   (b)  at or in connection with schools in an approved school system in the
        State. Note 1: Certain amounts paid to a State under section 77 are
        taken to be paid under this section.
