SOCIAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT 1978 No. 128, 1978 - SECT 43

Interpretation
43. (1) Section 106 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end of
paragraph (a) of sub-section (1A) ''but is under the age of twenty-five
years''.

(2) Where the rate of a benefit payable immediately before the commencement of
this section is a rate for the purpose of the calculation of which there has
been taken into account a rate in respect of a child who has attained the age
of 25 years, the appropriate rate in respect of that child shall continue to
be taken into account for that purpose after the commencement of this section
notwithstanding the amendment made by sub-section (1).
