SOCIAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT 1978 No. 128, 1978 - SECT 33

33. (1) Section 105A of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from
sub-section (1) the definition of ''child'' and substituting the following
definition:

'' 'child' has the same meaning as in Part VI, and includes a person who is a
student child for the purposes of that Part;''.

(2) Where a double orphan's pension is payable immediately before the
commencement of this section in respect of a child who is in receipt of an
invalid pension under Part III of the Social Services Act 1947, that double
orphan's pension continues to be payable after the commencement of this
section notwithstanding the amendment made by sub-section (1).
