TRADE PRACTICES REVISION ACT 1986 No. 17 of 1986 - SECT 31

31. (1) Sections 62, 63 and 63AA of the Principal Act are repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding the repeal effected by sub-section (1), a prescribed
consumer product safety standard, a prescribed consumer product information
standard or a notice declaring goods to be unsafe goods in force under section
62 or 63 of the Principal Act immediately before the commencement of this
section shall continue in force after that commencement as if that standard
had been prescribed or declared, or that notice had been published, under
section 65C or 65D, as the case requires, of the Principal Act as amended by
this Act.
