1995 No. 27 AGRICULTURAL AND VETERINARY CHEMICALS CODE REGULATIONS - REG 44

44. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 90 (a) of the Code, a record in relation
to a date-controlled chemical product:

   (a)  must be made:

        (i)    in written or electronic form; and

        (ii)   in such a way as to ensure that the record is readily
               accessible for the purposes of Part 9 of the Code (which deals
               with enforcement); and

   (b)  must include the following particulars:

        (i)    the name and business address of the manufacturer;

        (ii)   if the product is imported-the name and business address of the
               importer;

        (iii)  the distinguishing name of the product;

        (iv)   if the product is a registered chemical product-the
               distinguishing number given to the product under section 20 of
               the Code;

        (v)    the volume or quantity manufactured or imported;

        (vi)   the batch number.

(2) For the purposes of paragraph 90 (b) of the Code, the period for keeping a
record of a date-controlled chemical product is the period that begins when
the record is made and ends 12 months after the expiry date of the product to
which it relates.
