1988 NO. 158 CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS - REG 280

Supply of records
280. (1) Where an aircraft is subject to a statutory lien under section 69 of
the Act, any person who keeps any records in respect of the aircraft under
regulation 54 shall, when requested to do so by the Authority in writing,
supply those records to the officer of the Authority specified in the request.
Penalty: $1,000.

(2) Where:

   (a)  a request has been made to a person under regulation 11 of the Air
        Navigation (Charges) Regulations as in force before the commencement
        of these Regulations; and

   (b)  the person has not complied with that request at the commencement of
        these Regulations; the request shall, for the purposes of these
        Regulations, be taken to be a request made by the Authority under
        subregulation (1) to supply records kept under regulation 54 to the
        officer of the Authority holding the office of Assistant Secretary
        (Investment and Pricing).

(3) Nothing in subregulation (2) shall render a person liable to be punished
twice in respect of a failure to supply the relevant records.
