The European Economic Community (Declaration as an Overseas Organization) Regulations (in force under the International Organizations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1963) as shown in this compilation comprise Statutory Rules 1986 No. 184 amended as indicated in the Tables below.

(a) The form of introductory words used to make Statutory Rules 1986 No. 184 was as follows:
`WHEREAS it is desirable to declare the European Economic Community to be an overseas organization to which the International Organizations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1963 applies so that, where a person attends an international conference (within the meaning of that Act) convened by an international organization to which that Act applies as a representative of the European Economic Community, that person may have such privileges and immunities as are conferred by that Act or the Regulations under that Act on a person who is in attendance at, or has attended, an international conference convened by that international organization as a representative of an overseas organization to which that Act applies:
NOW THEREFORE I, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the International Organizations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1963.'
