1989 No. 405 EXPORT INSPECTION (ESTABLISHMENT REGISTRATION CHARGES) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 5

5. Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended by adding at the end
the following subregulation:

"(2) For the purposes of section 6 of the Act, in relation to the registration
of an establishment for any operations associated with the preparation of a
prescribed commodity referred to in subregulation (1), the charges are to be
imposed in respect of the following periods:

   (a)  for the year commencing on the day on which the establishment is first
        registered; and

   (b)  for each succeeding year during which the establishment is registered;
        and

   (c)  on the registration of the establishment for operations in addition to
        that or those for which the establishment is registered-for the
        period:

        (i)    commencing at the beginning of the prescribed month in which
               the establishment is registered for the additional operations;
               and

        (ii)   ending on the anniversary of the first registration of the
               establishment that first occurs after that prescribed month.
