Commonwealth Numbered Regulations Commonwealth Numbered Regulations(1) If a party to criminal proceedings is unrepresented when the proceedings start, and later appoints a lawyer to represent the party in the proceedings, the lawyer must file a notice of acting in accordance with Form CP4.
(2) As soon as practicable after filing the notice, the lawyer must serve a stamped copy of the notice on each other party to the proceedings.
