1993 No. 70 FISHING LEVY (BASS STRAIT SCALLOP FISHERY) REGULATIONS - REG 2

2. (1) In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

"Bass Strait Scallop Fishery" means that part of the Australian fishing zone
that is specified in the Schedule;

"fishing permit" means a fishing permit for fishing for scallops in the Bass
Strait Scallop Fishery;

"Levy Act" means the Fishing Levy Act 1991;

"Management Act" means the Fisheries Management Act 1991.

(2) An expression in these Regulations that is defined for the purposes of the
Management Act has the same meaning in these Regulations as in that Act.
