FEDERAL MAGISTRATES COURT (BANKRUPTCY) RULES 2006 (SLI NO 1 OF 2006) - REG 1.04

         (1)   In these Rules, unless the contrary intention appears:

"Act" means the Federal Magistrates Act 1999 .

"Bankruptcy Act" means the Bankruptcy Act 1966 .

"bankruptcy notice" means a bankruptcy notice issued by the Official Receiver under section 41 of the Bankruptcy Act.

"Bankruptcy Regulations" means the Bankruptcy Regulations 1996 .

"Federal Court Rules" means the Federal Court Rules made under the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976 .

         (2)   Unless the contrary intention appears, an expression used in these Rules and in the Dictionary to the Federal Magistrates Court Rules 2001 has the same meaning in these Rules as it has in the Dictionary.

         (3)   Subrule (2) has effect subject to rule 1.05.
