MARRIAGE REGULATIONS 2017 (F2017L01359) - REG 31

Offence in relation to bringing Judge or magistrate into disrepute

                   A person commits an offence if:

                     (a)  the person uses words (whether by writing or speech) that are intended to bring another person into disrepute in connection with an inquiry being held by a Judge or magistrate; and

                     (b)  the other person is the Judge or magistrate.

Penalty:  2 penalty units.
