MARRIAGE REGULATIONS 2017 (F2017L01359) - REG 30

Offence in relation to improper influence

                   A person commits an offence if:

                     (a)  the person uses words (whether by writing or speech) that are intended to improperly influence another person; and

                     (b)  the other person is:

                              (i)  a Judge or magistrate holding an inquiry; or

                             (ii)  a witness at an inquiry being held by a Judge or magistrate.

Penalty:  2 penalty units.
