1985 No. 195 RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS (LICENSING AND GENERAL) REGULATIONS - REG 6

6. For the purposes of the definition of "radiocommunications transmitter" in
section 22 of the Act, the following classes of transmitters are prescribed:

   (a)  the class of transmitters that complies with standard 306; and

   (b)  those classes of transmitters specified in Column 2 of an item in
        Schedule 3 that have the capacity to operate only -

        (i)    on or within, as the case requires, any of the operating
               frequencies specified in Column 3 of that item, subject to the
               qualifications (if any) specified in that column of that item;
               and

        (ii)   within the parameters specified in relation to operating power
               in Column 4 of that item.
