CIVIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL ACT 2013 - SECT 37
Tribunal to promote use of resolution processes
(1) The Tribunal may, where it considers it appropriate, use (or require
parties to proceedings to use) any one or more resolution processes. Note :
See section 59 for the power of the Tribunal to give effect to a settlement
reached by the parties following the use of a resolution process.
(2) A
"resolution process" is any process (including, for example, alternative
dispute resolution) in which parties to proceedings are assisted to resolve or
narrow the issues between them in the proceedings.
