20 Effect on restraining order of refusal to make confiscation order

(1) If, while a restraining order is in force, the Supreme Court does not make an assets forfeiture order or an order under section 31A in respect of interests in property to which the restraining order relates or a proceeds assessment order, an unexplained wealth order or an order under section 31B in respect of any person whose interests in property are affected by the restraining order, the Court may-
(a) if it considers it appropriate, make an order in relation to the period for which the restraining order is to remain in force, and
(b) make such other order or orders as it considers appropriate in relation to the operation of the restraining order.
(2) An order under subsection (1) may be made to take effect-
(a) forthwith, or
(b) at a specified time, or
(c) on the happening of a specified event.
