CRIMINAL ASSETS RECOVERY ACT 1990 - SECT 21A

Definitions

21A Definitions

In this Division--

"claimant" --see section 21G(3).

"dispute period" of an assets forfeiture notice means--

(a) a period of 60 days after the publication of the notice, or
(b) a longer period specified in the notice by the Commission.

"final notice" --see section 21F(2).

"investigative agency" has the same meaning as in the Crime Commission Act 2012 .

"property" means--
(a) property seized or otherwise in the possession of an investigative agency, or held on behalf of an investigative agency, in connection with an investigation carried out by the investigative agency or another investigative agency, and
(b) does not include real property.
