(1) The Minister may cause a notice to be displayed in a conspicuous place on or near Crown land (or at a commonly used access point to the land) that prohibits persons from--(a) using a structure on the land without lawful authority, or(b) carrying on an activity on the land of a kind prescribed by the regulations.
(2) A Crown land manager of dedicated or reserved Crown land may cause a notice to be displayed in a conspicuous place on or near the land (or at a commonly used access point to the land) that prohibits persons from carrying on an activity on Crown land of a kind prescribed by the regulations.
(3) A person must not use a structure, or carry on an activity, on Crown land if the person is prohibited from doing so by a notice under this section.: Maximum penalty (subsection (3))--(a) for a corporation--200 penalty units and, for a continuing offence, a further penalty of 20 penalty units for each day the offence continues, or(b) for an individual--100 penalty units and, for a continuing offence, a further penalty of 10 penalty units for each day the offence continues.
