CHILDREN (CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS) ACT 1987 - SECT 39
Definitions
In this Division--
"authorised officer" means--
(a) an officer who is declared by the regulations
to be an authorised officer for the purposes of this Division, or
(b) an
officer who belongs to a class of officers who are declared by the regulations
to be authorised officers for the purposes of this Division.
"Director-General" means the person for the time being holding office or
acting as the Director-General of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
"officer" means an officer or temporary employee, within the meaning of the
Public Sector Management Act 1988 , employed in the Department of Juvenile
Justice or in the Department of Corrective Services.
