17 Establishment of Electoral Districts Redistribution Panel

(1) There is established by this Act an Electoral Districts Redistribution Panel (the
"Redistribution Panel" ) consisting of the following 3 members--

(a) a current or former Judge appointed by the Governor as the Chairperson of the Redistribution Panel,

(b) the Electoral Commissioner,

(c) the Surveyor-General.

(2) In this section,
"Judge" means--

(a) a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales or of any other State or Territory, or

(b) a Judge of the Federal Court of Australia, or

(c) a Justice of the High Court of Australia.
