Date of commencement (Sch 4.1, so much of Sch 4.6 [4] as repeals sec 6B of the Electricity Safety Act 1945, Sch 4.8 and so much of Sch 4.14 [1] as inserts references to First State Power and Macquarie Generation into Sch 1 to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992 excepted), 1.3.1996, sec 2 and GG No 26 of 1.3.1996, p 832; Sch 4.1 and Sch 4.8 were not commenced and were repealed by the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1996 No 30; so much of Sch 4.6 [4] as repeals sec 6B of the Electricity Safety Act 1945 was not commenced and was repealed by the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1997 No 55; so much of Sch 4.14 [1] as inserts references to First State Power and Macquarie Generation into Sch 1 to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal Act 1992 was not commenced and was repealed by the Energy Services Corporations Amendment (TransGrid Corporatisation) Act 1998 No 68.
