(1) The Corporation may enter into an agreement with the holder of a timber licence, forest products licence or forest materials licence--(a) for the construction by the licence holder of any works that, in the opinion of the Corporation, are necessary to enable timber, forest products or forest materials to be taken from the land in respect of which the licence is issued, and(b) for the cost of the works, as specified in the agreement, to be deducted, in such manner as may be specified in the agreement, by the licence holder from any resource acquisition fee which, but for the deductions, the holder would be liable to pay.
(2) In this section,
"works" include any road, bridge, gate or ramp.
