514 Direction not to move or interfere with heavy vehicle etc. to enable
exercise of other powers
(1) To enable an authorised officer to exercise a power under this Law, the
officer may direct the driver of a heavy vehicle or any other person not to--
(a) move the vehicle; or
(b) interfere with the vehicle or any equipment in
it; or
(c) interfere with the vehicle's load.
(2) The direction may be given
orally or in any other way, including, for example, by way of a sign or
electronic or other signal.
(3) A person given a direction under subsection
(1) must comply with the direction, unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
