Public lotteries not unlawful
6 Public lotteries not unlawful
(1) A public lottery conducted by a licensee is not unlawful, despite the
provisions of any other Act or law.
(2) In particular-- (a) any such
public lottery is not an unlawful game for the purposes of the
Unlawful Gambling Act 1998 , and
(b) the Community Gaming Act 2018 does not
apply to or in respect of any such public lottery.
