(1) This clause applies to land in--(a) Catherine Hill Bay Village Precinct, and(b) Middle Camp Village Precinct.
(2) The objectives of this clause are to ensure that development--(a) does not have an adverse impact on the heritage significance of the land, and(b) is not visually intrusive.
(3) Development consent must not be granted to development for the purposes of dual occupancies, secondary dwellings or semi-detached dwellings unless the consent authority is satisfied of the following--(a) the development will not have an adverse impact on the heritage significance of the land or adjoining land,(b) the type, bulk, scale and size of any proposed structure will be compatible with the surrounding area,(c) if a proposed structure contains plumbing fixtures--the fixtures will be connected to an approved on-site waste water treatment device or an approved connection to the sewer.
