(1) The regulator may grant a demolition licence if satisfied about the following--(a) an application for the licence has been made in accordance with this Regulation,(b) the applicant is able to ensure the work or other activities to which the licence relates will be carried out safely and competently,(c) the applicant is able to ensure compliance with the conditions that will apply to the licence,(d) each individual nominated as a named supervisor for the licence--(i) is at least 18 years of age, and(ii) has the qualifications and experience necessary to supervise the work or other activities to which the licence relates.
(2) The regulator must refuse to grant a demolition licence if satisfied the applicant--(a) is disqualified under a relevant law from holding an equivalent licence, or(b) has, in making the application--(i) given information that is false or misleading in a material particular, or(ii) failed to give material information that should have been given.
