VICTIMS SUPPORT AND REHABILITATION ACT 1996 - SECT 77A
Definitions
In this Division:
"aggrieved person" , in relation to an offence, means a person who has
sustained loss through or by reason of:
(a) an offence for which the offender
has been convicted, or
(b) a further offence that a court has taken into
account under Division 3 of Part 3 in imposing a penalty for an offence for
which the offender has been convicted.
"court" means the Supreme Court, the Court of Criminal Appeal, the District
Court or the Local Court.
"direction for compensation" means a direction for compensation under
section 77B.
