SMALL BUSINESSES' LOANS GUARANTEE REGULATION 1994 - REG 3

Definitions

3 Definitions

In this Regulation:
"ASIC" means the Australian Standard Industrial Classification (1978 edition), published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics, a copy of which is deposited in the offices of the office of Small Business.
"excluded establishment" means:

(a) an animal beauty parlour, or
(b) a hotel or motel the subject of a licence under the Liquor Act 1982 , or
(c) a massage parlour, or
(d) a sauna bath or turkish bath, or
(e) a brothel.
"excluded service" means:
(a) domestic service on a contract or fee basis (other than a window cleaning or house cleaning service), or
(b) a chauffeur service, or
(c) a cloakroom service, or
(d) a tattooing service, or
(e) an escort agency service, or
(f) a massage service.
"scheduled industry" means an industry listed in:
(a) Division B, C, D, E, F, G or H, or
(b) Subdivision 62, or
(c) Group 631, 633, 637, 638, 639, 816, 846, 913, 934 or 935, or
(d) Class 8491, 8495, 9141, 9144, 9231, 9233, 9361 or 9364,
of the detailed classification appearing in Chapter 7 of Volume 1 of ASIC.
"the Act" means the Small Businesses' Loans Guarantee Act 1977 .
