SMALL BUSINESSES' LOANS GUARANTEE REGULATION 1994 - REG 4

4 Prescribed purpose (sec 2)

For the purposes of paragraph (a) of the definition of "small business" in section 2 of the Act, the purpose of carrying on any kind of business activity is a prescribed purpose so long as:

(a) the activity is carried on in a scheduled industry, and

(b) the activity does not comprise the manufacturing or processing of goods, the operation of an excluded establishment or the provision of an excluded service.
