Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act or the Code does not affect the authority of a court of record to punish a person summarily for the offence commonly known as Contempt of Court .
(2) A person shall not be punished under subsection (1) and under the Code for the same act or omission.
