Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) Where, under this Act, a traffic control device is erected, established, placed or displayed, it shall be deemed to be lawfully erected, established, placed or displayed and its presence to be consistent with its traffic control purpose, unless the contrary is proved.
(2) A traffic control device which substantially conforms with the prescribed dimensions, shape, colour, position, direction, angle or other features of a particular traffic control device shall be deemed to be a traffic control device of that kind.
