Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) No compensation is payable by TIO or the Territory in consequence of anything done under this Act.
(2) This section does not apply in relation to compensation payable under a transaction document, to a party to the transaction document in consequence of non-compliance with that or any other transaction document.
(3) In this section:
"compensation" includes damages.
"transaction document" means an insurance sale agreement, banking sale agreement, contract made under section 9 or any other agreement or contract entered into in the exercise of a power under this Act in relation to the sale if the banking business or the sale of the insurance business (as the case requires).
