(1) A person commits an offence if:
(a) the person engages in conduct; and
(b) the person intends, by engaging in that conduct, to directly or indirectly assault, threaten or intimidate, or attempt to assault, threaten or intimidate, another person; and
(c) the other person is an inspector or a person assisting an inspector.
Maximum penalty:
(a) in the case of an individual – $50 000 or imprisonment for 2 years or both; or
(b) in the case of a body corporate – $250 000.
(2) Section 12B does not apply to an offence against subsection (1).
