AUSTRALIAN VEHICLE STANDARDS RULES - REG 24
What is an adopted standard
An adopted standard is a standard, except a national standard, that is
applied, adopted or incorporated by the Vehicle Standards.
Example
Rule 62(7) adopts Australian Standard AS 1906 Retro-reflective Materials and
Devices for Road Traffic Control Purposes.
