SUPREME COURT RULES 1987 - REG 82.28

    (1)     An appeal does not:

        (a)     operate as a stay of proceedings or execution under the decision appealed against; or

        (b)     invalidate an intermediate act or proceeding.

    (2)     Subrule (1) is subject to the following:

        (a)     any Act that provides otherwise;

        (b)     any decision made by the court or tribunal below;

        (c)     any direction of the Court.
