Northern Territory Numbered Acts Northern Territory Numbered Acts(1) The Minister must, by Gazette notice, appoint a departmental officer, other than the CEO, to be the registrar of non-Government schools.
(2) Before making an appointment the Minister must be satisfied that the person meets the requirements prescribed by regulation.
(3) The registrar has the functions given to the registrar by this Part or the Regulations.
(4) The registrar is not subject to the direction or control of the CEO in the exercise of any power, or performance of any function, under this Part.
