Commencement by proclamation etc.
15D Commencement by proclamation etc.
(1) If an Act or provisions of an Act is or are expressed to commence on a day
to be fixed by proclamation or other instrument— (a) a single day or time
may be fixed; or
(b) different days or times may be fixed for different
provisions.
(2) If the day or time fixed by a proclamation for the
commencement of an Act or a provision of an Act happens before the day on
which the proclamation is notified (the
"notification day" )— (a) the proclamation is valid; but
(b) the Act or
provision commences on the notification day.
