ANIMAL MANAGEMENT (CATS AND DOGS) ACT 2008 - SECT 197
Muzzling decommissioned greyhounds in public places
(1) This section applies to an owner of a decommissioned greyhound if a local
law requires it to be muzzled when in a public place.
(2) The requirement
does not apply to the owner.
(3) In this section—
"decommissioned greyhound" means a greyhound that— (a) is not a declared
dangerous dog or declared menacing dog; and
(b) has successfully completed a
program prescribed under a regulation.
