BUILDING BOOST GRANT ACT 2011 - SECT 82
Obstructing authorised officer
(1) A person must not obstruct an authorised officer, or someone helping an
authorised officer, exercising a power unless the person has a reasonable
excuse. Penalty— Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
(2) If a person
has obstructed an authorised officer, or someone helping an authorised
officer, and the authorised officer decides to proceed with the exercise of
the power, the authorised officer must warn the person that— (a) it is an
offence to cause an obstruction unless the person has a reasonable excuse; and
(b) the authorised officer considers the person’s conduct an obstruction.
(3) In this section—
"obstruct" includes assault, hinder, resist, attempt to obstruct and threaten
to obstruct.
