CASINO CONTROL ACT 1982 - SECT 35
Application for licence
35 Application for licence
(1) An application for a casino key employee licence or a casino employee
licence must— (a) be in the approved form; and
(b) be accompanied by the
fee prescribed under a regulation; and
(c) specify from the prescribed list
the type of work proposed to be performed by the applicant as a licensee; and
(d) contain or be accompanied by the prescribed information and particulars
with respect to the applicant; and
(e) be accompanied by such other records,
reports, documents and writings relating to the applicant as may be
prescribed; and
(f) be forwarded to or lodged with the chief executive; and
(g) be accompanied by a certificate in the approved form certifying that the
applicant has successfully completed a training course or is otherwise
qualified by experience, stated in the certificate, appropriate to the type of
work specified under paragraph (c) .
(1A) However, where such a training
course has not been completed at the time of the making of the application and
the successful completion of the training course is to be relied on by the
applicant, the application may be supported by a certificate as aforesaid
forwarded to the chief executive upon the successful completion of the
training course provided the certificate is so forwarded within the time
prescribed for the forwarding of a supporting certificate in the circumstances
or, if a time is not prescribed, within a time approved by the chief
executive.
