85M Report about criminal history

(1) To help decide whether a person is a suitable person to be an inspector or continue as an inspector, the chief executive may ask the police commissioner for a written report about the person’s criminal history.

(2) If asked by the chief executive, the police commissioner must give the chief executive a written report about the criminal history of the person.

(3) The duty imposed on the police commissioner applies only to information in the commissioner’s possession or to which the commissioner has access.
