CHILD PROTECTION ACT 1999 - SECT 152
Identity card
152 Identity card
(1) The chief executive must give each authorised officer an identity card.
(2) The identity card must— (a) contain a recent photograph of the officer;
and
(b) be signed by the officer; and
(c) identify the person as an
authorised officer under this Act; and
(d) include an expiry date.
(3) A
person who ceases to be an authorised officer must return his or her identity
card to the chief executive within 21 days after the person ceases to be an
authorised officer, unless the person has a reasonable excuse for not
returning it. Penalty— Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
(4) This
section does not prevent the giving of a single identity card to a person for
this Act and other Acts.
