CHILD PROTECTION ACT 1999 - SECT 230
Court may make interim order
230 Court may make interim order
(1) If the Childrens Court orders the transfer of the proceeding to the
participating State, it may also make an interim order— (a) granting custody
of the child to any person; or
(b) giving responsibility for the child’s
supervision to the interstate officer for that State or another person in that
State to whom the responsibility may be given under a child welfare law of
that State.
(2) The interim order must state the time, not more than 30 days,
for which it has effect.
