FAIR TRADING ACT 1989 - SECT 91C
Where and how to start appeal
91C Where and how to start appeal
(1) A person whose goods have been seized under this division may appeal to
the Magistrates Court nearest where the goods were seized.
(2) The appeal is
started by— (a) filing a written notice of appeal with the clerk of the
court of the Magistrates Court; and
(b) giving a copy of the notice to the
commissioner.
(3) Without limiting subsection (2) (b) , the commissioner is
given a copy of the notice if a copy is given to the inspector who seized the
goods.
(4) The notice of appeal must state the grounds of the appeal.
