Subsequent special health care for adult
74 Subsequent special health care for adult
(1) If the tribunal consents to special health care for an adult, the tribunal
may appoint 1 or more persons who are eligible for appointment as a guardian
or guardians for the adult and give the guardian or guardians power to consent
for the adult to— (a) continuation of the special health care; or
(b) the
carrying out on the adult of similar special health care.
(2) The appointment
order may include a declaration, order, direction, recommendation, or advice
about how the power given is to be used.
(3) The appointment order may be
changed by the tribunal on its own initiative or on the application of an
interested person.
(4) In deciding whether to consent, a guardian must apply
the general principles and the health care principles.
