466 Accreditation labels for maintenance management accreditation and mass
management accreditation
(1) If the Regulator grants maintenance management accreditation or mass
management accreditation to an operator of a heavy vehicle, the Regulator must
give the operator an accreditation label for each relevant vehicle for the
accreditation.
(2) If the operator amends the relevant management system to
identify a new relevant vehicle for the accreditation— (a) the operator may
ask the Regulator for an accreditation label for the new relevant vehicle; and
(b) the Regulator must give the accreditation label to the operator.
(2A) The
operator must attach the accreditation label for a relevant vehicle to the
vehicle in a way that the label— (a) is readable from outside the vehicle;
and
(b) is not wholly or partly obscured, defaced or otherwise not legible.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—$3000.
(2B) A person must not drive a
relevant vehicle if the vehicle’s accreditation label— (a) is not attached
to the vehicle; or
(b) is attached to the vehicle in a way that the label is
wholly or partly obscured, defaced or otherwise not legible.

Maximum penalty—$3000.
(3) In this section—
"accreditation label" , for a relevant vehicle for a maintenance management
accreditation or mass management accreditation, means a label stating the
number identifying the accreditation for attaching to the vehicle.
"relevant vehicle" , for a maintenance management accreditation or mass
management accreditation, means a vehicle identified in the relevant
management system as currently being operated in accordance with the
management system.
