INTERACTIVE GAMBLING (PLAYER PROTECTION) ACT 1998 - SECT 103
Censuring agent
103 Censuring agent
(1) This section applies if the chief executive— (a) believes a ground
exists to direct the termination of an agency agreement; but
(b) does not
believe the giving of a show cause notice to the agent is warranted.
(2) This
section also applies if, after considering the accepted representations for a
show cause notice, the chief executive— (a) still believes a ground exists
to direct the termination of the agency agreement; but
(b) does not believe
termination of the agreement is warranted.
(3) The chief executive may, by
written notice given to the agent, censure the agent for a matter relating to
the ground for directing the termination of the agreement.
(4) The notice
must state the reason for the decision to censure the agent.
(5) The chief
executive must promptly give a copy of the notice to the licensed provider.
