INTERACTIVE GAMBLING (PLAYER PROTECTION) ACT 1998 - SECT 235
False or misleading statements
235 False or misleading statements
(1) A person must not state anything to an inspector the person knows to be
false or misleading in a material particular. Penalty— Maximum
penalty—40 penalty units.
(2) It is enough for a complaint for an offence
against subsection (1) to state that the statement made was false or
misleading to the person’s knowledge.
