Chief executive may enter applicants’ place of business for particular purposes
42 Chief executive may enter applicants’ place of business for particular
purposes
(1) This section applies to the following— (a) an applicant for a licence;
(b) an applicant for renewal or restoration of a licence.
(2) Subject to
subsection (3) , the chief executive may enter and inspect the applicant’s
place of business for the purpose of ascertaining whether the applicant is a
fit and proper person to provide labour hire services.
(3) The entry must be
made— (a) at a time the applicant’s business is being carried on; or
(b)
with the consent of the applicant.
(4) For this section, a place of business
does not include a part of the place where a person resides.
